Overall there are very few restrictions left regarding COVID-19 in Latvia.

Traveling to Latvia

There are restrictions for entering Latvia only if coming from particularly high-risk countries. As of this writing there are no such countries since last year.

COVID restrictions in Riga and Latvia

Currently it is not mandatory to use face masks or respirators. Medical institutions, service providers and other have the right to determine the need to use medical masks or FFP2 respirators when assessing risks.

Where to get a COVID test

In case you need to take a COVID test, check the list for places to take it at https://covid19.gov.lv/en/covid-19/about-covid-19/who-can-be-tested-covid-19-free. COVID tests are no longer for free and costs around €35 or more if expedited results are necessary. If a laboratory test is not needed for official approval, then supermarkets and pharmacies sell COVID-19 antigen detection kits for around €4-7.
