We've organized a group day trip to Tequila as a social event on July 25th! Just 1 hour outside of Guadalajara, Tequila is a city in the state of Jalisco, in central Mexico, and is known for the production of tequila. The city is near Tequila Volcano and surrounded by fields of blue agave, the principal ingredient in tequila.
During this day trip, we will visit two Tequila factories, the Bontanical Garden, the agave fields, an underground cellar and shrine, taste tequila*, and explore the downtown area.
*Please note that this trip involves tasting alcoholic beverages and attendees must be over the age of 18 to join.
Itinerary
8:00 Departure to Tequila, Jalisco
9:00 Arrival at Casa Tequilera
9:30 Visit to Casa Tequilera and tour of the agave fields, shrine, underground cellar, and tasting
10:30 Transfer to the viewpoint of the swing "Paraíso azul"
11:00 Free time for pictures
12:00 Transfer to downtown Tequila
12:45 Visit to Casa Sauza: Jima and professional tasting
14:30 Free time to eat and explore downtown Tequila
17:00 “Súbete al chile”
18:30 Cantaritos el Güero
20:00 Return to Guadalajara.

The registration cost for this day trip is $65 USD per person and covers transportation as well as all of the items listed on the itinerary. We recommend you also bring local currency for souvenirs and food while exploring downtown Tequila.
