Hong Phuc Dang

Hong Phuc Dang is the founder of FOSSASIA, an organization that strives to improve people’s lives through sharing open technologies, knowledge and fostering global connections and sustainable production. She chairs the annual FOSSASIA Summit and organizes Open Tech Summits in countries from Vietnam, India, China, Sri Lanka, to Germany. She is a board member of the Open Source Business Alliance Europe. She also served as VP of the Open Source Initiative. Hong Phuc believes Free and Open Source is not just a way to exchange code freely, it is a collaboration model that sets an example of how people around the world can work together peacefully to solve any problem.

Shauna Gordon-McKeon

Shauna Gordon-McKeon

Shauna Gordon-McKeon is a writer, programmer and community organizer who focuses on the intersection of technology and governance. Her business, Galaxy Rise Consulting, works with free/open source projects, non-profits, progressive organizations and other clients to build better products for their communities, and stronger communities around their products.

Gordon-McKeon is on the board of Tech Inquiry, a non-profit run by tech workers combating problems and abuses in the tech industry, and co-organizes the Washington DC chapter of the Tech Workers Coalition. She experiments with governance technology through her work on Kybern.org and in her role as an advisor to Metagov.
