Description
This session examines how colors and sets of colors are exposed to desktop users and why it's frustratingly difficult getting identical results between LibreOffice, GIMP, Inkscape, GTK themes, and other FOSS software, from graphing libraries to debugging tools. We'll explore the competing implementations for storing and sharing color information across documents, describe what users can do to get reproducible results today, and consider how cross-application color could be made slightly more convenient.
