Description
Let's look at Fedora Workstation together (as an example GNOME Desktop) and see what is working well and what pain points we can identify. In the last decades Linux Internationalization has come a long way: we have pretty good fonts for many scripts and also working input methods generally. Still there is always room for improvement, and some areas are clearly more lacking or weak.
This talk will try to identify the good and the bad, and potential lower hanging fruit and priorities to consider giving attention to. The audience should bring up problems they have too, including using their own languages.
