Description
IBus is an input-method framework which has historically managed pre-edit colors using RGB values, a logic that has worked well in Xorg desktop environments. Moving forward, IBus will manage pre-edit colors using hint values for Wayland desktop environments, allowing each Wayland compositor(gnome-shell/mutter) to manage the actual RGB values.
